Manchester United winger Ashley Young believes it is clear to see that Arsenal are vulnerable to the counter attack, revealing the Red Devils studied how to take advantage of it in the days leading up to yesterday's clash.

Young and company ran out comfortable 2-1 winners at the Emirates Stadium, only a late Olivier Giroud goal, well into injury time, blotting their copy book.

Louis van Gaal's men ruthlessly exploited Arsenal's vulnerability to quick breaks and the winger was delighted to see a plan come together.

"We watched videos on Arsenal and you can see that you can hit them on the counter attack", he told MUTV.

"That's why it was important to get the first goal", Young continued.
