Liverpool midfielder Adam Lallana has called on his side to remain united, ahead of their crucial Champions League fixture against Ludogorets on Wednesday.

The Reds, who lost 3-1 to Crystal Palace in the Premier League yesterday, are currently third in Group B of the Champions League with just three points from four outings.

The Merseyside giants have lost three consecutive fixtures in the tournament and need a win against Ludogorets to have any chance of reaching the knockout round of the Champions League.

And Lallana, who insisted Liverpool will give their all to win against the Bulgarian outfit, underlined the importance of his side staying alive in the continental competition.

"We win and lose as a team; we need to stay together, keep fighting and keep working for each other”, he told the club’s official site.

“We have got a tough game on Wednesday so we all need to be together for that one.

"We need to win to stay in the competition, so the lads will be fighting for their lives to do that.

“It's important, not just for ourselves, but for the fans, the manager and everyone involved with Liverpool Football Club.”

Liverpool, who have now lost four games on the spin in all competitions, following the defeat at Selhurst Park, beat Ludogorets 2-1 in the corresponding fixture at Anfield in September.
