Nantes midfielder Jordan Veretout’s agent has revealed that AC Milan are tracking the highly-rated French Under-21 international.

The 21-year-old rose through the ranks at Nantes and is a highly-regarded young midfielder in French football.




He is also a regular for France's Under-21 outfit and is slowly turning heads with his performances in Ligue 1 for Nantes.

Hi agent, Fabrice Picot, has claimed AC Milan are already tracking the youngster, but said that he is yet to receive any formal approach for his client.
 


He also cautioned Milan by saying that Nantes do not intend to sell their prized possession in January, but added his client will be interested in playing in Serie A in the future.

“I know that Milan scouts were attending the match between France and England Under-21 to take a look at Veretout but they have not yet contacted me”, Picot told Calcio Mercato.

“I do not think Nantes will sell in January.

“Jordan is interested in the Serie A and he would be interested in playing in the Italian league in the future.”

Veretout has clocked up 13 appearances for Nantes this term, scoring four goals and providing five assists.
