Bayern Munich have been allowed to add rookie goalkeeper Ivan Lucic to their Champions League squad ahead of their clash against Manchester City.

The German champions are suffering from a goalkeeping crisis at the club, with both their second and third choice goalkeepers Tom Starke and Pepe Reina on the long-term injury list.

That leaves Manuel Neuer as the only senior shot-stopper in the squad that has travelled to England to take on Manchester City tonight.

Therefore, UEFA have granted permission to the German champions to add Lucic to their squad to make up the numbers. Leopold Zingerie is the second choice goalkeeper behind the German number one.

The Austrian Under-19 international moved to Germany this summer from SV Ried, having come through the ranks at hometown club FK Austria Vienna.
