Jose Mourinho feels it is unfair to only praise Diego Costa for Chelsea’s rampaging form this season.

The Spain international, who joined the Blues from Atletico Madrid in the summer, has found the back of the net regularly for his new employers.

Costa has already scored 11 goals in just 13 appearances in all competitions for Chelsea.

However Mourinho, whose side are yet to lose a competitive fixture in the present campaign, believes that the whole Chelsea team deserve credit for their stupendous performances this term.

“Without a team behind him, [Costa] is nothing”, he explained to UEFA’s official site.

“He is playing well, he is scoring goals, but it is not fair to just speak about him and not the team.

“We have new players in the team and they have settled well.”

Chelsea, who are currently atop Group G of the Champions League with eight points from four games, will play Schalke tonight.

And a win against the German opponents would enable Mourinho’s side to book their place in the next round of the tournament with one group stage game still remaining.
