AC Milan midfielder Michael Essien has insisted that he is happy with his role at the club and will be ready every time his manager needs him.

The 31-year-old has managed six appearances for the Rossoneri this season, stressing that he is satisfied with the way things have progressed so far.




"My season? I’m fairly satisfied, I try to be ready every time the coach needs me", Essien told the Milan Channel.

 


Speaking about his team's performances and the matches that are to follow, the former Chelsea player stated that his team have to keep their focus and try to ensure that they manage the best possible results until Christmas.

Speaking about the return of skipper Riccardo Montolivo, Essien stated that the news of the 29-year-old's return is important and the team are happy to have him back.

"The return of Montolivo is very important to us, he’s our captain and we’re happy about his comeback."

AC Milan will host Udinese at the San Siro next on 30th November.
