Calum Chambers insists Arsenal will in no way underestimate Borussia Dortmund just because they are struggling in the Bundesliga.

Jurgen Klopp's men were expected to be battling Bayern Munich at the top end of the Bundesliga table, but are instead working overtime to pull out of relegation danger.

The Champions League has been a different matter for Dortmund though, with four wins from four, and Chambers says Arsenal are wary of the Germans ahead of tonight's game at the Emirates Stadium.

"They’re not doing as well as they normally do in the league but it doesn’t mean they’re not a good team", he told his club's site.

"The Champions League is different. You have to be a lot more careful with your tackles and challenges because of the way the officials are.

"They’re a very good team and we saw that when we last went out there. I didn’t play in that one because I had an illness but it was a tough night for all of us. It was an experience for all of us and we all learned from that night.

"It is about the point [that Arsenal need to qualify] but we need to get a win and a good performance as well. We go into every game the same, we work on a game plan during the week before and we work on what we can do so we go into the game with the same mentality."

Dortmund put Arsenal to the sword 2-0 in the earlier group fixture between the two, leaving Klopp purring about his side's display on the night.
