Former Liverpool striker Dirk Kuyt is already attracting interest from a number of clubs after agreeing to part ways with Fenerbahce at the end of this season.

Kuyt is out of contract in the summer of 2015 and is set to look for a final challenge after becoming a firm favourite in Istanbul.

The Dutchman is wanted by former club Feyenoord, who are spying a free transfer capture and the return of a striker who is a cult hero at De Kuip.

However, the Rotterdam outfit are set to face opposition for Kuyt's signature from two Premier League clubs who want to tempt the Dutchman back to England, where he previously turned out with Liverpool.

The clubs in question are Sunderland and Southampton who, according to Turkish broadcaster Lig TV, have already informed Kuyt of their desire to sign him.

Kuyt is set to be faced with the tough decision of continuing his career in England or returning to former club Feyenoord.

The 34-year-old turned out for Feyenoord between 2003 and 2006, scoring 71 goals in 101 games.

He then moved on to Liverpool where he became famed for his hardworking attitude and never-say-die approach on the pitch.
