Italian clubs are losing the battle for Brescia playmaker Ismail H'Maidat, with the player's agent due to hold talks with Premier League outfit West Ham.

AC Milan, Fiorentina and Sassuolo are all keen on the starlet, but West Ham have jumped into pole position to secure his signature.




Indeed, according to Italian outlet Tutto Mercato, a date has now been put in the diary for H'Maidat's agent to hold talks with West Ham in England.

 


The development also sees West Ham move ahead of Arsenal in the race for the 19-year-old, Arsene Wenger's men having started to show interest in him as early as September 2012, when he spent time at the Gunners on trial.

H'Maidat has so far clocked up 12 appearances in Serie B for Brescia so far this season, providing a lone assist.

The youngster, who is a product of Anderlecht's esteemed youth academy, has also turned out twice in the Coppa Italia.
