Manchester United striker Radamel Falcao has revealed that coming to England was always in his plans and feels the Premier League will suit him.

Falcao joined the Red Devils on a season-long loan deal from Monaco this summer with Manchester United having the option to make the move permanent at the end of the season.

After scoring a staggering 155 goals in 199 appearances for three European clubs, the Colombian superstar came to Old Trafford with a big reputation.

He has so far failed to live up to the hype and has scored just one goal in three league starts, with injuries playing a big part in his slow start to life in England.

But Falcao has insisted it is only a matter of time before he hits his stride as he believes the Premier League is suited to his style of play.

He also revealed that playing in England was always one of his goals and he is ready to stamp his authority on English football.

“I was always told that the Premier League would suit my playing style”, the Colombian told Inside United.

“And England has always attracted me.

“Ever since I was a child, I always wanted to come here so much so that I learned the language so I was preparing myself in some way for a future move to England.”
