Palermo coach Giuseppe Iachini has warned clubs eyeing up striker Paulo Dybala that his president is determined to keep hold of the highly rated 21-year-old.

Dybala has been linked with a number of clubs, most recently English giants Liverpool, and Palermo are widely expected to field offers for his services in next month's transfer window.

The Argentine, who has been compared to both Sergio Aguero and Vincenzo Montella, is making waves at Palermo.

Iachini is a firm fan of the striker and knows other clubs are tracking him.

But he is not resigned to his departure, even next summer.

"No [I am not resigned to losing him] because I am convinced that the club want to keep him as long as possible", Iachini told Tutto Mercato.

"If we were to get an offer, it is clear that the club would look at it", he continued.

"We also need to think of Paulo growing his career, although I am sure that [president Maurizio] Zamparini, as far as he is concerned, would keep him at Palermo for life."
