Inter fans have made their views on the club re-signing Mario Balotelli clear, advising the Nerazzurri's management against such a move.

Balotelli turned out for Inter between 2007 and 2010, playing under Roberto Mancini and Jose Mourinho, and earning a reputation as one of the most promising youngsters in European football.

He joined Manchester City in 2010, turning out for Mancini again, before linking up with Inter's rivals AC Milan in January 2013.

Balotelli returned to England this summer to sign for Liverpool, where he has so far struggled to impress. And there has been talk Mancini could look to take the 24-year-old back to Inter, where he is again in charge, in next month's transfer window.

But Inter's fans do not want Balotelli back.

At Inter's 2-2 home draw against Lazio on Sunday night, fans in the famous Curva Nord section chanted 'Balotelli, we do not want him', to make their position on talk he could be signed clear.

Inter's goals on the night at the San Siro were scored by Mateo Kovacic (66th minute) and Rodrigo Palacio (80th minute).

The strikes helped Mancini's men recover from 2-0 down, with goals conceded to Lazio attacking midfielder Felipe Anderson (2nd and 37th minutes).
