Bordeaux are confident of agreeing a deal with Arsenal to take striker Yaya Sanogo on loan until the end of the season.

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is keen to send Sanogo out to gain further first team experience over the second half of the campaign.




Ligue 1 side Bordeaux want to add a striker to their ranks and Sanogo has popped onto their radar.

 


And according to French daily Le Parisien, Bordeaux are confident that Sanogo will join on loan for the remainder of the season.

Sanogo is thought to know about Bordeaux's interest and favours them above other suitors in the form of Lorient.

One development which could complicate a loan deal for Sanogo would be if Lukas Podolski leaves Arsenal. Inter are currently chasing the German.
