Former Arsenal attacking midfielder Andrey Arshavin could quit Zenit St. Petersburg this month.

The 33-year-old has only clocked up 241 minutes of Russian Premier League football under Andre Villas-Boas at Zenit this season.

The former Chelsea and Tottenham manager also only handed him 13 minutes of football during the club's Champions League group stage campaign.

Arshavin is out of contract at Zenit in the summer, but could walk away earlier than that, according to Italian broadcaster Sport Mediaset.

It remains to be seen where the 33-year-old may head, with a move within Russia thought to be the most likely option.

Arshavin made 144 appearances for Arsenal between 2009 and 2013, scoring 46 goals.
