Mats Hummels' father has stamped on speculation that his son could quit Borussia Dortmund to join Manchester United this month.
Red Devils boss Louis van Gaal is known to be a big fan of Hummels and a potential move to Old Trafford for the Germany international has been talked up.
But Hummels will not jump off a burning Dortmund ship as the club battle relegation from the Bundesliga this season, his father, who also acts as his agent, says.
Asked about the rumours by Sky Deutschland, Hermann Hummels replied: "There's nothing to it."

Dortmund have so far conceded 26 goals in 17 Bundesliga matches, sharp contrast to the team they were tipped to rival for the title, Bayern Munich, who have so far conceded just four goals.
