Anderlecht sensation Dennis Praet is not keen on joining Manchester City, insisting that he feels he would not play enough at the Citizens.

Praet has been linked with the English champions in recent weeks and the midfielder is widely regarded as one of the brightest prospects in Belgian football.

But the youngster is already giving serious thought to his future and has all but ruled out moving to the Etihad Stadium.

"I think for my development as a player I would be better off joining a medium sized team in a great league", Praet was quoted as saying by Tutto Mercato.

"If I go to Manchester, I would not have many chances to play."

Given Praet's comments it is unclear how he might view an approach from his other suitors, with both Arsenal and Juventus firm fans of the 20-year-old.

Despite his tender years Praet has already made over 100 appearances for Anderlecht and won three Belgian league titles.
