Sevilla are eyeing a deal for Radamel Falcao in the summer if Manchester United opt against signing the striker on a permanent transfer.

Since the Colombian was dropped from the Manchester United squad that faced Southampton last weekend, his future at Old Trafford has been a source of constant speculation.

Falcao’s agent, Jorge Mendes, has said that he is unsure whether his client will stay at Old Trafford beyond the end of the season and it has also emerged that Real Madrid may look at signing the Colombian.

With only three goals for the club, the 28-year-old has so far failed to live up to his billing this term and it is believed that Louis van Gaal has his reservations about signing him on a permanent deal.

With Falcao’s future at Manchester United uncertain, there are a few clubs across Europe who are keenly following developments at Old Trafford.

According to Spanish portal Fichajes, Sevilla are one of those clubs who are keen on signing the forward next summer.

But the club are aware of their financial limitations and want Monaco to lower their asking price to facilitate Falcao’s move to Seville.

The Colombian still has a few months to salvage his Manchester United career, but it seems his days at Old Trafford may be numbered.
