FC Oss striker Kevin van Veen is wanted by English League One duo Sheffield United and Scunthorpe United.
Van Veen has been on the English sides' radar, with the pair regularly scouting him in the Dutch Eerste Divisie.
According to Voetbal International, both Sheffield United and Scunthorpe have now stepped up their interest in Van Veen in the hope of signing him this month.
However, at present the price FC Oss are quoting the English duo is an obstacle and it remains to be seen whether there is movement.

FC Oss want a minimum of €300,000 to part with the 23-year-old, whose contract with the Dutch side only runs until the summer.
Van Veen has been in fine form in the Dutch second tier so far this term, scoring 13 goals in 18 games.
