Paris Saint-Germain midfielder and Tottenham Hotspur target Adrien Rabiot is not going to leave the club in the winter transfer window.

It had been claimed that the young French midfielder, who is also coveted by Arsenal, has agreed personal terms with Mauricio Pochettino’s Tottenham.

The player was believed to be keen on completing a loan switch to White Hart Lane this month to secure more first team football.

However, PSG boss Laurent Blanc was reluctant to lose the midfielder in the middle of the season, as it would have been tough for him to sign a replacement for Rabiot owing to financial fair play regulations.

And it seems the former Manchester United defender’s wish has been granted as it has now been firmly decided that Rabiot is not leaving the club this month, according to French sports daily L'Equipe.

PSG have blocked Rabiot’s move to Tottenham and it seems Pochettino might have to wait until the summer to get his man.

With Rabiot staying at PSG, it remains to be seen how much game time Blanc is prepared to offer the youngster for the remainder of the season.
