Real Madrid are keeping a close eye on Under-16 Italian international and AC Milan schemer Hachim Mastour.

Known for spending big money on established stars, Real Madrid are also keen on recruiting the brightest young talents across the globe and made their intentions known by snapping up the highly coveted Norwegian starlet Martin Odegaard earlier this week.

And now according to Madrid-based daily Marca, Los Blancos are turning their attention towards another 16-year-old schemer, currently playing at AC Milan.

Mastour joined AC Milan’s youth academy in 2012 and after progressing through the ranks, he made it to Filippo Inzaghi’s bench this season, despite his tender years.

Though he is still to make his senior debut for the club, the 16-year-old is highly rated within the walls of the San Siro and scouts from across Europe have marked him out as one to watch out for in the future.

The teenager has made six appearances for AC Milan’s youth side this season and has attracted the attention of Real Madrid with some eye catching performances.

AC Milan kept him out of Barcelona’s clutches last year, but now Real Madrid are plotting taking Mastour to the Santiago Bernabeu.

Real Madrid are trying to tempt youngsters with the opportunity of playing under the tutelage of Zinedine Zidane for their Castilla team and it remains to be seen whether the Rossoneri will be able to convince Mastour to continue at the San Siro.
