Nantes attacker Serge Gakpe has insisted that he is yet to reach a decision on his future and denied speculation that he has already agreed to join Serie A outfit Genoa.

The 27-year-old is out of contract this summer and Nantes are keen on recovering some transfer fee by selling him this month, rather than seeing him walk away for free.

Torino are interested in taking the former Monaco man to Italy and it has emerged that Alan Pardew is eager on signing Gakpe to bolster his attacking options at Crystal Palace for the second half of the season.

However, there has been speculation that the Togo international already has an agreement in place to join Italian outfit Genoa this month.

But the in-demand player has scoffed at the speculation and said that though he is talking to a number of clubs, he is yet to make a decision. Gakpe also confirmed he is in talks with a number of clubs over his future destination.

“This is wrong [I have not agreed any deal]”, Gakpe told Presse-Ocean.

“There are several clubs I am talking too.

“[But] for now I have not made a choice and I am still waiting.”
