Brazilian side Internacional are currently in negotiations with Anderson to take the Manchester United midfielder back to his homeland this month.

After a promising start to his career at Old Trafford in the 2007/08 season, Anderson’s time at the club has gone from bad to worse.

The Red Devils have been trying to sell the midfielder since last summer and he has played only once this season for the club under Louis van Gaal. Anderson spent the latter half of last season at loan to Fiorentina, but they refused to take up the option of making the move permanent.

With his contract with the club set to expire this summer, Anderson has been looking for a new destination for some time now and according to ESPN Brasil, he is currently negotiating a contract with Internacional.

His former club Gremio were also interested in signing the midfielder, but were scared off from negotiations after learning about the player’s wage demands.
