Inter Milan boss Roberto Mancini has revealed that he is planning to sign Manchester City midfielder Yaya Toure next summer.

The Nerazzurri have been one of the busier teams of the winter transfer window and are still trying to tie up several last minute deals before the window shuts next Monday.

Mancini replaced Walter Mazzarri in the middle of the season and was given the task of taking Inter back into the Champions League.

Though Inter are currently off the pace for Champions League qualification, the Italian is already planning a title charge next season and is looking to be even more active in the summer.

And in his bid to turn the Nerazzurri into title challenges next term, Mancini revealed that he might make a move for Manchester City midfielder Toure.

The former Manchester City manager feels Toure has the ability to provide the impetus which will help Inter to challenge for the Scudetto next season.

The Ivorian played a key role in Mancini delivering Manchester City’s first Premier League title triumph in the 2011/12 campaign.

"Yaya is one of the strongest players in the world", Mancini told Italian daily Il Giornale. "He still is.

"We are building a team. There are players that change the look of a team, and Yaya is one of them. Next year we could try.

“We need to bring three champions, and we will see that we will then be ready to fight for the title."
