Ligue 1 side Monaco are in talks with Tottenham Hotspur about snapping up winger Aaron Lennon.

The Spurs star has struggled for playing time at White Hart Lane this season and has been tipped to move on before the transfer window shuts.

Lennon has been linked with two Premier League sides in the shape of Harry Redknapp's QPR and Steve Bruce's Hull City.

But according to France Football, Monaco are making a serious play for the winger and are holding talks with Spurs.

Monaco, who finished second under Claudio Ranieri last season, are struggling to live up to expectations in the current campaign and sit just fifth in Ligue 1.
