Paris Saint-Germain are set to keep Arsenal and West Ham at bay by agreeing a three-year contract with their 17-year-old striker Jean-Kevin Augustin.

A product of PSG’s youth academy, the young Frenchman has been a revelation for the club at youth level and has been consistently turning in fine performances, which have attracted attention from far and wide.

Voted the PSG academy’s Player of the Year, the teenager has been in brilliant form for the club in the UEFA Youth League, scoring seven goals in 12 appearances.

But talk of Augustin’s ability did leak out of the Parc des Princes and Arsenal and West Ham were plotting to snare the youngster away from PSG this month.

However, the French champions have been able to convince the youngster to continue his development with them and according to L’Equipe, the 17-year-old is set to sign his first professional contract with PSG.
