Leeds United are looking to bring players in before the transfer window slams shut on Monday night, boss Neil Redfearn has confirmed.

The Whites added two players to their ranks earlier this week, with the addition of defender Sol Bamba and midfielder Granddi N'Goyi, both on loan for the remainder of the season from Italian club Palermo.

Nevertheless, Leeds have been chasing another striker, while a wide player is also on Redfearn's agenda as he looks at ways to introduce extra width to his side.

And the Leeds boss is hoping that business can be done before the window closes, even though he is keen to stress any new arrivals will have to pull up trees to command a spot in the side.

"We've got people that we want to try and get in", he told LUTV.

"We've racked our brains for the last month on players that we're looking at, with people also making suggestions.

"If we can get a couple in, great, but the ones that come in will have to play well to get in because the lads are playing well at the moment", Redfearn added.

One player who had been targeted by Leeds, striker Leonardo Pavoletti, joined Italian Serie A side Genoa yesterday, taking himself off the table for the Whites.
