Liverpool midfielder Joe Allen feels that it is an honour for him to play with Brazilian playmaker Philippe Coutinho.
According to the 24-year-old, his team-mate is a person who has been able to take his game to the next level and is set to put a strong case in front of his national team manager soon.
The Brazilian, who added to his tally of four goals with a second half blinder yesterday to inflict a huge blow to Manchester City's title hopes, is superb to play with, according to Allen.
Allen also feels that the qualities that Coutinho shows day in and day out makes him an asset for the team.
"He's so good. With his performances recently, Philippe has taken things to the next level", Allen told his club's official site.

"The Brazilian team is obviously full of talent, but he has to be really pushing for that.
"Working with him day in, day out, he shows his quality every time he trains and plays and he scored a superb winner to get us the three points."
The Welsh international also took time to speak about the unpredictable nature of his team-mate, stressing that it is that particular feature that makes Coutinho such a valuable asset to the team.
"He's so unpredictable and that's such a good skill to have. He has the ability to turn both ways.
"He's skilful and very versatile. He can play in different positions and teams are struggling to deal with him.
"Why has he started scoring? I think it's confidence. That's a huge thing in football. The ability has always been there. Technically, he's right up there.
"I think some people forget how young he is at times. He's a young player getting better all the time. He's showing that goals are part of his game. He was always on this path.
"Those of us who work with him on a daily basis, we always knew he was going to kick on and reach this kind of level."
Besides the five goals Coutinho has scored so far this season, he has also provided his team-mates with five equally important assists.
