Inter are ready to provide competition to Manchester United and Chelsea for the signature of Barcelona forward Pedro Rodriguez in the summer.

The winger has recently said that he is unsure about his future at Barcelona. It is believed that not being a regular in Luis Enrique’s team has been a source of frustration for Pedro and he is keen to leave the club in the summer to grab more first team opportunities somewhere else.

Arsenal have been linked with a move for the Spaniard since last summer and it is believed Manchester United and Chelsea are also keeping tabs on the situation at the Nou Camp.

It has been speculated that Inter are disappointed with Lukas Podolski’s performances in Italy and are ready to send him back to Arsenal in the summer without taking up the option of signing him permanently.

Therefore, the club have been actively scouring the market for a replacement and according to Studio Sport, the Nerazzurri have zeroed in on the 27-year-old Spanish international from Barcelona.

Though they are not keen to sell the youth team product, Barcelona are aware that with Pedro’s contract expiring in 2016, this summer is the best opportunity for them to cash in on a player who is not a regular at the club.

While Inter are aware that they are not in the same financial league as the English clubs interested in the player, they would still like to throw their hat in the ring to sign Pedro at the end of the season.
