The release clause in Roma winger Adem Ljajic’s contract has attracted the interest of English champions Manchester City, it has been claimed.

The Serbian winger has been attracting interest from clubs across Europe with some assured performances for the Giallorossi this season.

Scoring nine goals and providing two assists this term, Ljajic’s consistency has already attracted the interest of Manchester United and Liverpool and both clubs are believed to be eyeing a summer move for the 23-year-old.

According to the Italian daily Leggo, the Serbian has a release clause of €25m in his contract and that has attracted the attention of Manchester City, who are looking to add more creativity to their squad at the end of the season.

Roma are desperate not to lose the influential winger in the summer and are working hard to convince him to sign a new deal with the club, which will remove the contentious release clause.
