Real Madrid and FC Porto have reached an agreement over Manchester United linked Brazilian full-back Danilo, according to Spanish outlet La Sexta,

The Brazilian international has been heavily linked with a move to the Santiago Bernabeu over the last month or so and though Barcelona are also trying to have their say in the transfer saga, it is believed the player’s first choice are Real Madrid.

The Mancunian duo of Manchester United and Manchester City are also believed to be interested in the full-back and the names of Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain have also come up in the discussions surrounding his future.

There was talk that with the interest in Danilo rising every minute, Porto were looking to drive up his price to around the €40m mark to extract the maximum value out of a player whose contract with the club is expiring in the summer of 2016.

However, Real Madrid are believed to be the front-runners in the race to sign him and it has been claimed the club have already agreed a deal with Porto for Danilo’s switch to the Spanish capital at the end of the season.
