Celtic captain Scott Brown admits that manager Ronny Deila has been talking about winning his first trophy with the club constantly in recent days.

The Bhoys have the chance to grab the first piece of silverware of Deila's reign this coming weekend when they lock horns with Dundee United in the Scottish League Cup final.

Deila came in for much criticism during his early months as Celtic boss, with the club slipping out of the Champions League in the playoff stage and having to make do with a Europa League campaign this term as a result.

However, the Norwegian is keen to hit the high of winning a trophy this weekend, Brown has revealed.

The club captain told a press conference: "He has been talking about it a lot, really looking forward to Sunday."

Celtic's opponents in the final are Dundee United, the same side they played out a 1-1 Scottish Cup quarter-final draw against yesterday.

The game took place at Tannardice and Brown feels sure the switch to Hampden for the final will benefit his sid, although he noted the Arabs will be desperate to put the Bhoys to the sword.

"The pitch at Hampden will help our style of play.

"Both teams want to win every game which is good for us, makes for a good game", he added.
