Bordeaux coach Willy Sagnol has told his players to be "better than Chelsea" if they want to beat Paris Saint-Germain on Sunday.

Sagnol's men host Laurent Blanc's side in a Ligue 1 fixture and are well aware that PSG will arrive full of confidence, having just knocked Chelsea out of the Champions League to reach the quarter-final.

PSG managed to hold Chelsea to a 2-2 draw over 120 minutes at Stamford Bridge in midweek, despite playing for 90 minutes with ten men following the sending off of Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

"Yes, it will be very complicated", Sagnol told a press conference, when asked about facing PSG on Sunday.

"PSG played out a 2-2 draw with Chelsea and, as I told my players, we know what we have to do.

PSG currently sit second in Ligue 1, one point behind league leaders Lyon, as they bid to defend their French title.

Sagnol's men meanwhile are sixth and chasing a top five European spot, one point behind fifth placed Saint-Etienne.

Bordeaux have not beaten PSG since 2010 and have lost twice to the capital club this season, once in the league and once in the French Cup.
