AC Milan are set to tempt Zlatan Ibrahimovic to leave Paris Saint-Germain with a life-long contract at the San Siro.

The Rossoneri are still enamoured by the player who left them to join the French champions in the summer of 2012 and want him back at the club soon.

The AC Milan hierarchy are aware that they are not in a position to match the huge pay package that Ibrahimovic receives at the Parc des Princes, therefore they are working at others ways to bring him back to the club.

According to Tuttosport, the club are prepared to offer a life-long contract to the Swede and provide him with a salary of around €5m per season to tempt him back to the San Siro at the end of the season.

With his contract with PSG expiring in the summer of 2016, AC Milan are under the impression that it would not require a huge transfer fee to tempt the club into sanctioning the 33-year-old’s sale at the end of the season.

However, the Swede is a hugely popular figure in the dressing room at the Parc des Princes and the PSG hierarchy are also not keen to sell the striker in the near future.

In fact their president Nasser Al-Khelaifi is a big admirer of Ibrahimovic and wants him to continue at the club in some capacity even after the Swede retires from active football.
