Former AC Milan striker Alexandre Pato has not ruled out the prospect of joining Inter Milan in the future.

The 25-year-old forward left the Rossoneri to join Corinthians in January 2013 and is currently on loan at Sao Paolo until December 2015.

While the forward is not setting Brazilian football alight with his performances, Pato is keen to move back to Europe in the future and said that AC Milan still have a special place in his heart.

“One day, I would love to return to Europe with a strong team like [AC] Milan. The Rossoneri are still in my heart”, Pato told Italian broadcaster Sport Mediaset.

However, the forward indicated that he is keener to move back to Europe than rejoin AC Milan and has not ruled out wearing the Nerazzurri colours in the future.

“Even Inter are a great team; in football you never know”, Pato added.

The 25-year-old admits that though he is in his homeland Brazil, he does miss Italy and especially Milan and would love to go back to the country.

“I miss Italy; I still have many friends there.”

Pato made 150 appearances for AC Milan, scoring 63 goals for the club and even won the Scudetto once for the Rossoneri.
