Juventus striker Alvaro Morata has said that the atmosphere at Bianconeri feels like a family, saying that the camaraderie between players at the club surprised him.

Morata joined the Italian giants at the start of the current season from Spanish La Liga outfit Real Madrid and in his inaugural season in Serie A he has gone on to score seven goals and assist a further four in his 23 league appearances thus far.

His effectiveness has seen manager Massimiliano Allegri often start him ahead of Fernando Llorente. The 22-year-old’s prolific form has seen him linked with a move back to the Santiago Bernabeu in the summer, although the youngster has denied any desire to move to back to Real Madrid.

The striker has expressed his happiness over the way his journey with Juventus has turned out so far, saying that the atmosphere at the club makes it feel like a family.

“One thing that surprised me a lot when I arrived at Juve is that there is no one in the dressing room who feels that they are more important than the others, not even those who have been world champions and are living legends of football”, he said in an interview with Tuttosport.
