Arsenal defender Per Mertesacker feels that Jurgen Klopp would fit perfectly into the Premier League if he decides to move to England following his departure from Borussia Dortmund at the end of the current season.

Klopp has announced his departure from the Ruhr outfit after the conclusion of the current season, but the German has not announced any plans to take a sabbatical from management, fuelling speculation of a possible move to the Premier League next season.

Merseyside giants Liverpool have been tipped with a move for the charismatic manager in the summer as a possible replacement for incumbent Brendan Rodgers.

And Mertesacker has given glowing reviews of his experiences in the Premier League, adding that he would love to see a fellow German plying his trade in England.

“I've got some nice experiences in the Premier League and of course it would be nice if a German coach would take the challenge of working in the Premier League”, the defender was quoted as saying by ITV.
