Manchester United have announced their starting line-up and substitutes to lock horns with Jose Mourinho's Chelsea at Stamford Bridge this afternoon.
Red Devils boss Louis van Gaal has opted to pick Radamel Falcao up front, with skipper Wayne Rooney dropping back into a midfield role in the absence of Michael Carrick. In-form Juan Mata keeps his place in the side, along with countryman Ander Herrera, while Marouane Fellaini also plays.
Young Paddy McNair comes into defence in the absence of Phil Jones. On the bench Van Gaal can turn to Robin van Persie if needed, while Angel di Maria also finds himself amongst the substitutes this afternoon, along with Adnan Januzaj.
Manchester United currently sit third in the Premier League and eight points behind Chelsea. A win at Stamford Bridge is considered essential to keep alive their faint title hopes.
