Liverpool have finalised their starting line-up and substitutes for this afternoon's FA Cup semi-final clash against Aston Villa at Wembley.

Reds manager Brendan Rodgers, who is looking for his first major trophy as a manager, has selected skipper Steven Gerrard to start at Wembley, while Raheem Sterling is selected to lead the line. The in-form Philippe Coutinho also plays, along with Lazar Markovic. At the back, Rodgers goes for Emre Can, Martin Skrtel and Dejan Lovren in what looks to be a back three.

On the bench the Liverpool manager can turn to Mario Balotelli if needed, while his other attacking options are Rickie Lambert and Fabio Borini. Kolo Toure and Glen Johnson are also amongst the substitutes.

Liverpool head into the semi-final tie on the back of a 2-0 Premier League win over Newcastle United which has kept alive their faint hopes of finishing in the top four and qualifying for next term's Champions League. The winners of today's semi-final will meet Arsenal in the final.
