Kevin De Bruyne's agent has revealed he has met with a Manchester City official, but says he has had no contact with Manchester United.

The former Chelsea midfielder has shone in the Bundesliga with Wolfsburg this season and as a result has attracted interest from a number of clubs, with Manchester City, Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain all seeing their names mentioned in connection with the Belgian.

De Bruyne's agent, Patrick De Koster, admits to having had contact with Manchester City, but denies anything has been forthcoming from Manchester United.

"I have met with someone from Manchester City and we know each other", De Koster was quoted as saying by Bold.

"I have never spoken with anyone from Manchester United, but a lot of other clubs have approached me and asked about some general details."

De Koster says he is not at all surprised that De Bruyne is on the radar of a number of clubs given the season he has enjoyed at the Volkswagen Arena, comparing his situation with that of Juventus' Paul Pogba.

"I think that with the season Kevin has had, there would be something wrong if these enquiries did not come.

"I have read that Mino Raiola answers the phone 20 times a day about Paul Pogba and it's the same for me and probably for Memphis Depay's agent."

De Bruyne so far this season clocked up 44 appearances in all competitions for the Wolves, scoring 15 goals and providing an impressive 25 assists for his team-mates.
