Palermo president Maurizio Zamparini has dismissed comparisons between Paulo Dybala and Sergio Aguero, saying the Argentine is much more like Lionel Messi.

Zamparini intends to sell Dybala in the summer after failing to reach an agreement over a new contract with the striker and he claims to have a number of offers already on his table, pointing towards Arsenal and Juventus as two suitors.

And the president, who has been left disappointed at the striker refusing to agree a contract extension with Palermo, is nevertheless full of admiration for his potential.

Speaking to broadcaster Canal +, Zamparini explained: "Dybala is not Aguero, but instead the new Messi.

"He is not a pure striker, but more like Messi in that he moves into every area of the pitch."

And Zamparini says that the 21-year-old, who has scored 13 goals in Serie A so far this season, is a wanted man and as a result will not remain at Palermo.

"Will he stay? No, because the player and his agent want to go to a big club and they have the right to do so.

"I have already received at least four offers, two from Italy and two from abroad, including Juventus and Arsenal."

Dybala has been linked with a whole host of other clubs, including Liverpool, Inter, Manchester United and Napoli.

It remains to be seen where the 21-year-old will be playing his football come the start of the 2015/16 campaign.
