Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino has revealed that he is an emotional person and the prospect of a return to St. Mary's Stadium will be emotional for him.

The 43-year-old, who spent one-and-a-half years at Southampton, moved to Tottenham at the end of last season after refusing to sign a new contract with the Saints.

And tomorrow's fixture will give the Argentine the chance to visit St. Mary's for the first time since having left the club last summer, a prospect that makes him emotional.

Asked about his feelings on his arrival at the stadium Pochettino told his club's official website: "It’s difficult to know at the moment.

"It’s true I’m an emotional person and it’s an emotional game because we spent one-and-a-half years at Southampton and it was a fantastic period."
