Manchester United have announced their starting eleven and substitutes to lock horns with Everton at Goodison Park in a Premier League fixture this afternoon.
Red Devils boss Louis van Gaal has restored Wayne Rooney to a central striking role after dropping the captain into midfield against Chelsea. Rooney will be supported by Ashley Young and Juan Mata, while Marouane Fellaini plays against his old club.
Further down the pitch, Daley Blind is in action, while Paddy McNair is named as part of a defence which also includes Chris Smalling. On the bench for Van Gaal to turn to if needed is considerable attacking power, with Angel di Maria, Robin van Persie, Adnan Januzaj and Radamel Falcao all amongst the substitutes this afternoon.
Manchester United currently sit fourth in the Premier League standings with 65 points from 33 games. Victory for the Red Devils will see them leapfrog above local rivals Manchester City.
