West Ham boss Sam Allardyce feels that his goalkeeper Adrian has successfully managed to spread fear across the Premier League as everybody now knows how good he is, particularly at penalties.

The 28-year-old has been in good form of late, and has managed nine clean sheets in the 38 matches so far this season.

The Spaniard in fact managed to join the elite group of goalkeepers to have saved three consecutive spot-kicks, when he saved Charlie Austin's shot from 12 yards in a 0-0 draw against Queens Park Rangers this weekend.

Adrian had in fact managed to keep Leicester City's David Nugent and Tottenham's Harry Kane at bay before stopping Austin to manage that feat and the veteran boss is absolutely delighted with the way the Spaniard has performed.

According to Allardyce, Adrian is proving to be a force to reckon with and has been one of the best goalkeepers in the league this season.
