Chelsea captain John Terry has revealed that Jose Mourinho's team talk at half time fired up the Blues and they responded to their manager’s call during last night’s 3-1 win over Leicester City.

The Pensioners went into the break 1-0 down, having conceded a first half stoppage time goal scored by Marc Albrighton, but the tables turned in the second half as goals from Didier Drogba, Terry and Ramires sealed a win for the Blues.

Mourinho’s men are now 13 points clear of second placed Manchester City and the west London outfit are within a whisker of wresting the league title from the Citizens as the Blues approach their last four games of the season.

Terry has revealed that the Portuguese gave a bit of dressing down to his players at half time and the team responded to his call as they rallied to register a comprehensive win over Nigel Pearson’s men.

“We got a bit of a telling off at half time and we came out and responded very well”, the defender told his club’s site.
