Celtic midfielder Stefan Johansen has been crowned the PFA Scotland Player of the Year.

The Norway international bagged the prize at a glittering ceremony held in Glasgow this evening, beating off competition from Celtic team-mate Virgil van Dijk, Aberdeen's Adam Rooney and Dundee's Greg Stewart.

Johansen has been in superb form for Celtic this season, scoring 12 goals and helping the Bhoys to win the League Cup and the Scottish Premiership.

His success on the night was not Celtic's only success however.

Johansen's team-mate Jason Denayer was crowned the PFA Scotland Young Player of the Year.
