Tottenham Hotspur full-back Danny Rose thinks his side put in a good performance against Manchester City today at White Hart Lane and must now look to win their last three Premier League matches this season.

Spurs had good chances throughout the encounter, finding Manchester City goalkeeper Joe Hart in good form. And he proved a barrier they could not breach, which combined with Sergio Aguero scoring for the visitors in the 29th minute, meant defeat for Mauricio Pochettino's side.

Rose was happy with Spurs' performance against the Citizens and admits that the dressing room is a disappointed place after the match.

He told Sky Sports: "We deserved a point, and had two or three good chances. Manchester City scored with their first real chance and had that class to put the ball in the net. We're all bitterly disappointed because we deserved something out of the game.

"I think we've done well against the big teams at home but everyone should be proud of themselves. City have just shown a bit more quality in front of goal. The chances that did come for us, Joe Hart's made some great saves and kept them in the game", Rose added.
