Adryan feels he is well prepared for a potential return to Flamengo following spells with Cagliari and Leeds United.

The Brazilian midfielder has just completed a season-long loan at Leeds and his future is up in the air, with the Whites having a purchase option included in the deal, but no sign of whether or not they will activate it.

Adryan featured regularly for Leeds earlier this season, but found himself dropped by head coach Neil Redfearn in the new year, with even a spot on the bench often beyond his reach as Under-21 football was the only thing on offer to keep the Brazilian warm.

He does not know what the future holds, but feels if he does return to Flamengo then he will be better prepared to succeed at the Brazilian giants.

"I've learned a lot here [at Leeds] and at Cagliari", Adryan told Globoesporte.

"Now I do not know what will happen. In case I go back to Flamengo, I am more mature, better prepared. I've changed for the better."

Adryan's loan contract at Leeds runs out on 5th July and he will not rule out the prospect of playing his football back at Flamengo or continuing at Elland Road. The midfielder accepts though that the decision may not be his to make.

"I never said I would rule out a return to Flamengo. However, I can't rule out continuing here for longer.

"I will not discuss it because the decision involves others. I do not know my future. It depends on who appears, but I am a Flamengo player. I'll never rule out a return to Flamengo.

"I have one more year, a year and a half contract with them. I don't rule it out. We'll see."

Adryan's arrival at Leeds last summer saw him tipped to do big things for the Whites in the Championship, but he failed to hit the heights expected and the jury is out on whether the English side will choose to keep him.
