Juventus CEO Giuseppe Marotta has claimed that Carlos Tevez will not be leaving the club this summer.

It has been speculated that the former Manchester City man is feeling homesick and wants to return to his native country of Argentina this summer.

It was also claimed that his former club Boca Juniors are in line to re-sign the Argentine international at the end of the season and even their hierarchy confirmed the possibility of getting Tevez to wear their colours next term.

There were rumours that Tevez has asked Juventus to terminate his contract, which expires at the end of the next season, to facilitate his move to Boca Juniors.

However, the Juventus CEO rubbished the claims, saying that there has been no suggestion of a premature termination of the Argentine’s contract and stressed that Tevez won’t be leaving the club this summer.

"I know that in his career he has moved a lot and that he is nostalgic about his country", Marotta was quoted as saying by ITV.

"However, there are no premises for interrupting his contract which expires in 2016."

Tevez is the club’s top goalscorer this season with 28 goals in all competitions and club manager Massimiliano Allegri is reluctant to lose the influential forward.
