Liverpool midfielder Adam Lallana isn’t ready to give up on the top four race yet, saying that the Reds will try to put pressure on fourth placed Manchester United by defeating Chelsea this weekend.

Brendan Rodgers’ men are sitting fifth in the Premier League standings; four points adrift of Manchester United and with three rounds of matches to go for both sides, the Manchester giants have an edge in the race for the top four.

Manchester United are undergoing a poor run of form which has seen them lose their last three matches on the trot and their poor recent showings have given hope to the Reds, who dispatched Queens Park Rangers in their last fixture after drawing against West Bromwich Albion and losing to Hull in recent games.

Ahead of Chelsea’s trip to Stamford Bridge this weekend, Lallana feels that three points from the newly-crowned English champions will put pressure on Louis van Gaal’s men and they may crumble under it.

"It's not over yet”, the England international told his club’s site.
