Tottenham Hotspur linked Everton winger Kevin Mirallas has dismissed speculation surrounding his future and has stressed that he has no intention of leaving the club.

The Belgian joined the Toffees in 2012 and has established himself as one of the mainstays of Roberto Martinez’s Everton team over the last couple of seasons.

Though he has missed a part of the season for Everton due to a hamstring injury, the 27-year-old has been in good form for the Toffees, which led to speculation about other clubs being interested in acquiring his services.

Tottenham are believed to be one of the clubs who are keen to get their hands on Mirallas but the Belgian squashed all the rumours surrounding his future.

He believes it is natural for an in-form player to be linked with other sides but assured the fans that the speculation surrounding his future has no basis whatsoever.

“I have always been proud to wear this shirt at Everton”, Mirallas told the club’s official website.

“At the start of the season I was very happy with my form.

“I had come back from injury and started the season really, really well and people speaking about me wanting to leave has never come from me.

“When you have a good start to the season and you are playing well, people are maybe showing a bit of an interest in you.

“But the supporters can rest assured that it never came from me and I never said I wanted to leave.”

Mirallas stressed the fact that he is happy at the club and has no intention of moving somewhere else because his family are well settled on Merseyside.

“I have always been happy here at this club, my family are happy where we are so it is a shame when stuff gets said and it isn’t me who said it.”

The Belgian international has scored eleven goals in 34 appearances in all competitions this season for the Toffees.
